EZEKIEL 36:24–32
David discovered their dishwasher was not functioning properly. Was it the hard water in their area or the machine’s malfunctioning?
God’s cleansing, unlike a faulty dishwasher, removes all impurities. The book of Ezekiel reveals God’s call to His people, addressing their sins and allegiance to other gods and nations. God promises to cleanse them from their idols and bring them to a place of fruitfulness, not famine, as He puts His Spirit in them.
The Lord welcomes us back to Him, as in Ezekiel’s time, and transforms us by washing us clean from our sins. With His Holy Spirit, we follow Him daily, ensuring our spiritual growth.
🙏 Lord God, there is no feeling like being pardoned and purified. We are grateful that You have changed us into new persons. In order for us to increasingly resemble Jesus, teach us to submit to You on a regular basis.
