LUKE 10:25–37
When wildfires devastated a rural town, a truck driver from another state loaded his vehicle with supplies and drove hours to help. He did not know anyone there—but he saw hurting people and responded with compassion.
This mirrors Jesus’ teaching in Luke 10:25–37, where a Samaritan helps a wounded Jew—crossing cultural and religious lines to show mercy. Jesus used this parable to answer the question, “Who is my neighbour?” His answer: anyone in need, regardless of background.
Jesus also tells us to Love our neighbours as ourselves (Mark 12:31). This kind of love moves us to act, not just feel.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus teach you to love as He taught—without borders or hesitation. Amen.
