Flags serves as banners over a group of people. Their designs and colors symbolizes territories and identify their values, beliefs and history in different ways. Each flag represents its own people and nation all around the world and conveys specific messages.
Having a flag means that your country is free and unique since it is not under the influence of any other countries. The flags are important to countries not only because they describe the authority and power of the nations but also because it is a symbol of peace and unity of all the people inside them.
Just like the flag that represents freedom, Jesus is a banner over us, protecting and shielding us. He is the “Glory and the Lifter of our heads” at all times. Let freedom ring out in our hearts today.
