GALATIANS 3:26–4:7
At the age of 32, a man was adopted. Twenty years earlier, as a foster child, he had resided with his adoptive parents. Even though he was an adult living alone, the family and he had always desired adoption. He said, “This is perhaps the happiest moment of my life,” after they were reunited and the adoption was official. “I am glad to be home.”
Those of us who have become a part of God’s family may consider that moment to be the happiest of our life. We become God’s children and He becomes our heavenly Father when we place our faith in Christ for salvation.
Our brothers and sisters in Christ are our spiritual siblings, and we all share an eternal inheritance as God’s adopted children.
Being a child of God entails feeling the security and intimacy of a loving, accepting, and concerned father. It is a great homecoming to be adopted into His family.
Anyone returning home will always find God’s arms open.
🙏🏼 Thank You Lord for adopting us and making us feel at home.
