1 CHRONICLES 29:6–16
While walking through a public garden, I saw a sign: “Please enjoy, but do not pick the flowers.” It struck me—this beauty was not mine to take, only to appreciate. In a similar way, everything we have is God’s. King David while praying declared that everything comes from God (1 Chronicles 29:14, 16).
Even our ability to work and earn is a gift (Deuteronomy 8:18). When we grasp that nothing truly belongs to us, we learn to live with gratitude and generosity.
God, the ultimate Giver, did not withhold His own Son (Romans 8:32). Because He has given us so much, may we hold life’s blessings lightly—and thank Him deeply.
