JOB 1:13–22
Gratitude has the power to change how we see both good and challenging times. When life is going well, it is easy to thank God, but when things fall apart, that’s when gratitude really tests us.
Imagine a young farmer in a village who has worked tirelessly to cultivate crops and care for his animals. One day, a fierce storm destroys everything—his crops, his animals, and his dreams. It is a heartbreaking loss. Yet, in his grief, he still chooses to give thanks to God. He acknowledges that everything he had—his land, his livestock—was a gift from God. Even though everything is gone, his faith and gratitude remain.
Gratitude does not erase the pain of loss, but it helps us remember that God is still with us. By choosing to thank God, even in the hardest times, we find the strength to keep going, trusting that He is faithful, no matter what.
🙏 May the Lord grant you the grace to always be grateful.
