EZEKIEL 29:1-9
The longest river in the world is the Nile of Africa, which stretches 6,650 kilometers (more than 4,100 miles) and runs northward through several nations in northeastern Africa. Millions of people in the nations the Nile flows through have had their food and means of subsistence provided for them over the years.
The king of Egypt, Pharaoh, and all of Egypt took pride in owning the entire Nile (Ezekiel 29:3, 9). They disregarded the fact that God created it. God then promised to chastise the country as a result (vv. 8–9).
We must take care of God’s creation and never lose sight of the fact that the Lord is the source of all that we have. He is the one who gives humanity the capacity to create and invent resources that are generated by humans. We must always keep in mind that God’s honour should never be handed to another when we talk about a positive thing that has happened to us or something we have accomplished.
🙏🏻To God be the glory – great things He has done!
