EZEKIEL 8
Young children may think they are hiding when they cover their eyes during a game of “hide and seek.” They believe you cannot see them if they are unable to see you.
As naive as that may seem to grownups, we occasionally treat God in the same way. We may have a tendency to ignore God and choose to go our own way, thinking He will not see us.
God revealed to Ezekiel that the elders of Israel, who worshipped their idols, believed the Lord did not see them (Ezekiel 8:12).
God misses nothing, and Ezekiel’s vision was proof of that.
God knows us completely.
