PSALM 131
During lunch with my sister and children, my niece was told to prepare for her nap by her mom. She was worried because I had not yet held her. I had to assure her that I would hold her for five minutes before her nap.
I am grateful for my niece’s constant reminder of love and being loved; that shows that our faith journey is about experiencing God’s love more fully than we can imagine.
One biblical prayer that can assist us in becoming like little children (Matthew 18:3) and letting go of the mental struggle we have over what we do not comprehend is Psalm 131. Rather, by spending time with Him, we can go back to a peaceful place (v. 2) and discover the hope we require (v. 3) in His love. It will be as peaceful and serene as if we were once again children in our mothers’ arms (v. 2).
🙏Lord, we are very appreciative of the people in our live, who help us remember what it means to love and be loved. Help us to be ever more firmly anchored in Your love.
