GALATIANS 3:15–22
In 1865, France proposed the Statue of Liberty as a gift to the United States. After years of fundraising, construction, and transport, it was finally dedicated in 1886—about 21 years later. Though the fulfilment was delayed, the promise was kept. Likewise, God’s promise to Abraham was fulfilled at the appointed time through Jesus Christ.
In Galatians 3:15–22, Paul explains that God’s covenant with Abraham pointed to Christ. The law, introduced centuries later, did not cancel that promise. Through Jesus, God’s blessing of salvation is made available to all who believe.
When God makes a promise, time does not weaken it. Therefore, place your faith in Christ, the fulfilment of God’s covenant, and confidently receive the blessings found in Him.
