PHILIPPIANS 1:3-14
We may feel as though we are failing on all fronts in life’s battles. Family conflicts, business disappointments, financial difficulties, or a breakdown in health can all contribute to a negative outlook on life. However, a Christian can always conclude, “Situation good.”
Have a look at Paul. He was imprisoned for preaching the gospel, but he maintained an exceptionally cheerful mood. He saw his incarceration as a new opportunity to convert the Roman palace guard. In addition, his position inspired other Christians to proclaim the faith more boldly (Philippians 1:13-14).
Despite the anguish we experience, God can use our experiences to work for our good (Romans 8:28). That is yet another way to honour Him.
Trials may be God’s path to victory.
🙏🏼Lord, comfort us when life’s difficulties strike. Renew us and assist us in our growth so that others may experience Your goodness and comfort as well.
