PSALM 103:1–12
Good Riddance Day, a Latin American tradition, involves individuals writing down embarrassing memories and issues from the past year and throwing them into an industrial-strength shredder or sledgehammer.
The author of Psalm 103 does more than just advise people to bid bad memories farewell. He reminded us that our sins are forgiven by God, who throws them away.
Good news! To enjoy Good Riddance Day, we do not need to wait for any special events. When we repent and confess our sins through our faith in Jesus, He lets them go and throws them far away. It could be a good riddance day today!
🙏May God throw away all your sins and ugly experiences today, in Jesus’ name.
