NUMBERS 6:22-27
I recently read an article that stated that smiling can be beneficial to your health. According to research, smiling calms the mind and reduces the stress levels.
But a genuine smile not only benefits the person giving it; it also benefits the person receiving it. It might convey to people your admiration and satisfaction without you having to say a word. Love can be shown through a smile without even the slightest physical contact.
We are not always given reasons to smile in life. However, our hearts are lifted when we see a genuine smile on a child’s face or through wrinkles of old age.
One indication of the presence of God in us is a smile. We get an indication that God “smiles” in the ancient benediction recorded in the book of Numbers (Numbers 6:25-26).
So today, keep in mind that God loves you and is glad to show you grace and shine His face upon you.
Also remember, our smiles might convey words of encouragement from God to people in need.
🙏”The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”
