LUKE 9:21–24
In a quiet music room, a student watches her teacher’s hands on the piano—listening, imitating, adjusting. She does not play her own tune; she follows, note for note, learning the discipline behind the beauty.
Jesus said those who want to be His disciples must deny themselves, take up their cross daily and follow Him (Luke 9:23).
True discipleship is like being a music student. It means setting aside our own rhythm and desires, trusting the Master’s lead—even when it is challenging or slow.
As we follow Him daily, we begin to grow in harmony with His will. In time, His character becomes the song our lives play.
And when others hear that melody, they do not merely hear us—they hear Christ in us.
🙏 May your life be a window through which others can see Jesus.
