MATTHEW 11:18-19
From the days of Jesus’ generation to ours, human nature has not changed. People have always, and will continue to express their opinions. Opinion polls are just opinions – beliefs and judgments often based on feelings.
God has given us His Word as a guide. It shows us the path of life and is greater than any opinion of men.
I encourage us today to be cautious of opinions – ours or others. Opinions are fickle because we are likely to change them suddenly without good reason or for just any reason. They are often based on the emotion of the day instead of God’s Word, which is truth.
