GENESIS 4:1–5
A careful farmer selects his finest seeds for planting, trusting that a good harvest will come. He does not sow damaged seeds carelessly. In the same way, God desires our best service, worship, and devotion, offered with faith and gratitude.
In Genesis 4:1–5, we see how Cain and Abel brought offerings to God. Abel offered the best from his flock in faith, but Cain’s offering lacked sincerity. God accepted Abel’s sacrifice because it came from a faithful and devoted heart.
As Christians, we must honour God with our best at work, worship, and daily living. When we serve God sincerely, trusting Him completely, our lives become pleasing offerings before Him.
