MICAH 7:1–6
In 1971, the leaked Pentagon Papers exposed how trusted leaders had misled the public for years. The revelation reminded the world that betrayal and corruption can come from unexpected places. Scripture likewise warns that danger is not always from strangers but sometimes from those closest to us.
In Micah 7:1–6, the prophet mourned a society where honesty had almost disappeared. Family relationships were broken, leaders pursued evil, and trustworthy people were scarce. God’s people were living in a morally decaying world that demanded discernment and wisdom.
Believers must not live in fear but in godly wisdom. Be discerning, remain faithful, and let your integrity shine even when others choose corruption. Trust God to guide and protect you in every situation.
