EXODUS 33:7–14
Despite the increasing interconnectedness of the world, face-to-face interactions remain the most enjoyable. Sharing and laughing together allows us to unconsciously sense each other’s emotions through facial movements, making it a better form of bonding.
The Lord and Moses had a face-to-face relationship, growing in confidence despite the people’s rebelliousness and idolatry. Moses set up a tent outside the camp to meet God while they watched from a distance (Exodus 33:7–11).
Through Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection, the way of communication with God has been opened. We can communicate with Him as a friend—face-to-face—allowing us to connect with Him in a more intimate way.
🙏To keep your lovely face
Ever before my eyes
This is my prayer
Make it my strong desire…
