EYES ON GOD

EXODUS 10:21–29

In a busy office, a man once worked under a supervisor who constantly belittled people’s efforts. No matter how hard they tried, nothing pleased him. At times, the man felt like walking away.

I imagine Moses felt something similar as he stood before Pharaoh during the plague of darkness. Despite nine mighty signs from God, Pharaoh raged and warned Moses that the day he saw his face again, he would die (Exodus 10:28).

But Moses stood firm. He trusted God’s promise to free Israel (Exodus 3:17) and kept his eyes on the one who is invisible (Hebrews 11:27).

Like Moses, we face moments of fear and pressure. Yet God’s Spirit strengthens us with courage, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). He empowers us to press on, even when the way seems dark.

🙏 May the Lord help you to keep your eyes on Him always, no matter what is happening. Amen.
