JOHN 8:36
A scar results from the biologic process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues. Most wounds, except for very minor ones, result in some degree of scarring.
Scars can result from accidents, diseases, skin conditions such as acne, or surgeries. From the spiritual perspective, scars can result from sin.
People usually try to remove scars, so that their looks become normal or as it was previously.
The scars of sin (guilt, condemnation, etc.) are erased by Jesus when we humble ourselves, admit our mistakes, and trust in Him for forgiveness.
Scars can be used as a testimony, but it is the testimony of no visible scars (inside or out) that brings God the greatest glory. May He be glorified in us.
