JOSHUA 7:1–12
I was battling with a writing deadline and a disagreement with my wife. I realised she was wrong.
As my computer screen went black, I noticed that the unacknowledged wrongs were not only hindering my work but also causing me distress.
All I needed to do was work towards reconciling our differences.
Like Achan, we do not always think about how tucking sin into our tents affects people around us and drives our hearts away from God. The basis for wholesome and dependable relationships with God and other people is confessing our sins, asking for forgiveness, and acknowledging Jesus as Lord. We may serve our loving Creator and Sustainer every day and experience His presence together if we submit to Him and let go of every sin and hurt.
🙏Lord, help us to recognise, confess, and turn away from our sin, as well as to forgive those who sin against us, so that we can nurture loving relationships with You and others.
