HEBREWS 10:19–25; NEHEMIAH 3
Stephanie Kanowitz in The Washington Post says more than five million people pay to run obstacle courses each year, facing challenges like vertical walls and muddy tracks. Some do it for personal growth, while others enjoy teamwork and support.
The Bible encourages teamwork in living out our faith in Jesus, urging us to motivate each other toward love and good deeds while meeting together regularly (Hebrews 10:24–25).
Nehemiah 3 is an exceptional example of teamwork. Named individuals and many unnamed worked together to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls. High priests and officials led by example, working alongside the people. Craftsmen and everyone collaborated, demonstrating commitment and unity. Each group knew their tasks and completed them efficiently.
Our goal should be to encourage others and help them, not to finish first.
We will eventually finish our lives on earth; let’s support each other daily.
🙏 Father in heaven, give Your servants eyes to see and strength to help each other in the race of faith today.
