HEBREWS 13:1–8
During the Second World War, Winston Churchill often worked deep in the underground War Rooms, sometimes alone for long hours. Though surrounded by maps and telephones, he felt the heavy burden of isolation. Many today feel the same.
Hebrews urges us to “Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers” (vv.1–2). Why? People need companionship and encouragement. The Lord promises, “, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (v.5).
When loneliness presses, we lean on God’s constant presence and extend His love by drawing others into fellowship.
🙏 May the Lord Jesus help you to turn isolation into love-filled fellowship. Amen.
