MICAH 5:2-5
“I have nothing to be terrified of.” Is it possible for you to say that today? You can if you have made Jesus the king of your heart and the Lord of your life.
Micah prophesied about a coming ruler during a fearful time of war and uncertainty, similar to today. God’s Word brought hope that this ruler would banish fear.
I grew up as a fearful boy. I was scared of the dark, changing a tire, and talking to others. I often felt I would fail or lose control, trapping myself in a prison of my own making.
When Jesus was born in Bethlehem, it marked the defeat of our enemies and fear. One day, fear will be gone because Jesus will rule. This Christmas, worship Him and share His love and grace with someone in need. May the Lord remove all our fears!
🙏Lord, even though Your children walk through the valley of the shadow of death, may they fear no evil, for You are with them. Prepare tables before them in the presence of their enemies.
