I wondered what it would be like to have a tone check app for my mouth after spotting a friend using one on his phone.
Paul believed that as Christians we should examine the language we use, especially when speaking to non-Christians (Colossians 4:6). He wanted the kindness and love of Jesus to shine through in our remarks. He desired for everything in our lives—including the way we speak—to be a call to know God.
An excellent method to demonstrate how Jesus is to those who do not yet know Him is to speak in a kind manner. We can use Colossians 4:6 as a grammar checker.
