Satan steals confidence, convincing us we are not smart enough, engaging enough, wise enough to act on God’s directives. Under God who is enough, we are capable. NUMBERS 13:30.
Our true greatness is in the Father’s eyes, our sorrows are in His heart and our triumphs are in His plans. PHIL.4:13.
The more attention we give God, the less concern we have about what we have, what we accomplish, or how we try to protect ourselves. JAMES 4:13-14.
So much of our lives are an act of giving back to God what He has given us – our money, our time, our faith, our attitude… almost everything. Because He has helped us, in reverence and honor we return those things in measure back to Him. PSALM 29:2.
We should not judge each other’s form of worship – let us let God do that. But individually, it would be good to do a heart-check to make sure our worship is OK. JOHN 4:24.
Many Christians today are frustrated because they can’t seem to find their ministry or “destiny,” but they are searching in the wrong places. Their destiny often awaits them in the same place Ruth discovered hers: the harvest fields. MATTHEW 9:37.
It is dangerous to rely on our own reasoning and judgment rather than God’s Word. Our minds and emotions are easily deceived. Our thinking can become so distorted that we have a hard time recognizing evil. JUDGES 21:25B.
Connecting with God is the one thing that matters. He recognizes every voice and feels the beat of every heart. He longs to hear us call and never stop until our dying day. PSALM 84:2.
Because of Jesus, we can hold our head up, walk in the love of God, and experience the joy of forgiveness. 1 COR.6:14. HaPpY EaStEr!
