Imperfections

As imperfect people we lean on our perfect heavenly Father. He takes our best efforts and carries out His will. He takes our mistakes and teaches us humility. He takes our weaknesses and makes us strong in Him. Our imperfections are not an excuse to plateau. We keep learning. PSALM 103:13.

A Revived Church

What we get out of our local church is what we put in. This includes our prayer life, our at-home worship to the Lord, and our daily studying of the Word of God. A revived church is made up of a revived people. COLOSSIANS 3:2.

In The Cross

Seek the One who reaches out from the cross to you. Allow His love to fill your heart. Hold tight to Him. We only need to stand in the shadow of the cross to be victorious. ISAIAH 64:4.

Let Forgiveness Spread Like Fire

Dr. du Plessis says, “Forgiveness means, ‘He can be as wrong as wrong can be, but I’ll not be the judge.’ Forgiveness means that I’m no longer binding a certain person on earth. It means withholding judgment.” WE MUST LEARN TO FORGIVE! LET FORGIVENESS SPREAD LIKE WILD FIRE!! MARK 11:25.

Peace

God is supernatural and so is His peace. It transcends all natural forms. It outdoes. It overshadows. It outperforms every single time. And when we think it cannot possibly get any better, it does. PHILIPPIANS 4:7.

Hold up The Light

It is easy to love the lovely, but speaking gentle words from a kind and forgiving heart when we have been wronged or provoked is a work of the Holy Spirit. It happens when we give up our agenda and take hold of God’s own. JOHN 13:34-35.

Servanthood

Jesus viewed servanthood as a privilege. He also taught that to His disciples. We tend to believe we have rights and we should assert them. As Christians, we may have rights, but to serve and give up our rights is a privilege. JOHN 13:12-14.

Social media likes

In this era of social media, many people seek those who would just like what they post on platforms. But we should not just aim at popularity. Remember, Jesus already “likes” us and He is the only One we should be  aiming to please. 2 CORINTHIANS 5:14.

God Pleasers

Many times we look to men for applause and recognition. However, when we truly follow our life’s calling and pour ourselves into it, we are honouring God. This becomes an act of worship that others will recognize sooner or later. COLOSSIANS 3:23. Welcome to the month of June!
