JOHN 10:1–11
In a college composition class, the teacher made the effort to familiarise himself with the names and faces of his students. He understood the importance of being addressed by name. This approach ensured a positive learning experience.
In John 10, Jesus, the Good Shepherd, demonstrates the warmth and care He has for us. Beyond knowing our names, He knows our thoughts, longings, fears, wrongs, and deepest needs. Because He knows these things, He has given us eternal life at the cost of His own. He lays down His life for the sheep, demonstrating His love and care for us.
Give thanks to Jesus! Your name and your needs are known to him!
