PSALM 57
Mark recalls a childhood moment when his father called the family to pray for help after their car broke down and they were running out of money. Today, God’s help arrives in unexpected ways, such as a friend fixing his car, a cheque, and food.
Psalm 57 is a powerful hymn that inspires worship. David, fearful for his life, still praised God. Despite facing enemies who want him dead, David could express his steadfast heart and determination to sing and make music. This psalm serves as a reminder of God’s power.
In any difficulty we are facing right now, we can turn to God for support. Then, with hope and confidence in His endlessly creative care for us, we can thank Him while we wait eagerly.
