Her husband celebrated a milestone birthday, and she brainstormed ways to honour him. She discussed ideas with her children, aiming to reflect the new decade’s significance and his family’s value.
King Solomon aimed to build a temple worthy of God’s presence, securing raw materials from the king of Tyre. He acknowledged that God’s vastness and goodness were beyond human capabilities, but he set about the task out of love and worship, ensuring the temple was worthy of God’s presence.
Our God is greater than all other gods, and we are urged to offer a loving and precious offering, regardless of its value, as Solomon did, knowing it cannot match God’s worth.
🙏Lord, You are indeed a great God, matchless in worth. May our offerings be pleasing in Your sight.
