JAMES 2:18–26
“Good friends are one of life’s greatest treasures” is a valuable piece of advice. Good friends provide constant support, attentiveness, and a willingness to share life’s joys and burdens.
Before Jesus’ arrival, only Moses and Abraham were considered friends of God, as mentioned in Exodus 33:11 and James 2:23.
Jesus calls those who belong to Him friends. He has made everything He learned from His Father known to them, and His love is so profound that He laid down His life for them.
Jesus is a precious and enduring friend who never leaves or forsakes us. He intercedes for us before the Father, provides for all our needs, forgives our sins, understands our sorrows, and offers us sufficient grace during trouble. He is our best friend.
