God’s Witnesses

Many people think they are not called to be evangelists. Well, we are all called to be witnesses. That means we are to testify to the goodness of God and to tell that He came to give eternal life. LUKE 14:23.

Never Forsaken

God can look upon our suffering and hold us through it. Never budging, completely enthralled with the purchase He had bought at the highest cost imaginable. HEBREWS 13:5.

Replaced

Jesus took our place. He is the sacrificial lamb. Atonement has been made for you and for me. LEV. 17:11. “There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Immanuel’s veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains.”

Love is a Choice

For Jesus, love is not a feeling but a choice. It is impossible to feel warm and fuzzy about people we do not like. Enemies, by virtue of the fact that they are enemies, do not inspire those kinds of feelings. MATTHEW 5:44.

Fading Away

All gifts that are given in love will fade away with time, but the godly love that is shared with one another, and God’s love for us, will never pass away. ISAIAH 54:10.

Love is in the Air

Our use of the term ‘love’ usually expresses an emotion and may come with conditions. God’s love, however, is unconditional. It does not fluctuate as human love does. JOHN 15:13.

To Die is Gain

People we have really loved have died. As hard as it is for us to let go, when a Christian dies, he/she is much better off in heaven than on earth. Their death is our loss, not theirs.
