ALWAYS CHERISHED

PSALM 4:1–8

We practically never get a day without experiencing some form of rejection, disregard, or insult. Sometimes we even do it to ourselves.

David faced bullying and threats from his enemies, causing a decrease in his self-worth and well-being. He sought relief and remembered that the Lord had set aside his faithful servant for Himself. His covenant love is forever and ever.

We are eternally loved and dear to God. He has called us to be His children for eternity. Instead of despair, we can remember the love we receive from our Father, who never gives up on us and never stops loving us. We should experience peace and joy, not despair.

“The true measure of God’s love is that He loves without measure,” says Bernard of Clairvaux.

🙏Father in heaven, the words of others can wound us deeply. Let your words heal and comfort us.
