COLOSSIANS 1:3–14, 23
A group of teenagers visited an elderly home and noticed a lonely man on a bed, which he could not move from due to his disability.
A teen shared God’s love story and read Bible passages, causing the man’s eagerness to learn more. She explained Jesus’s sacrificial death, which was difficult for him to understand. She then shared the promise of heaven for believers, including a new body.
A man expressed his desire to trust Jesus as his saviour and was assisted in praying for forgiveness and faith. He expressed his newfound confidence.
Thank God for the abundantly available, hope-filled, and transformative message of Jesus Christ! All who trust in Him are offered new life (Col. 1:5, 23).
🙏We are grateful to You, Lord, for giving us new life in Jesus Christ. Help us bring the hope of a fresh start to others so they too can experience a new beginning.
