On Christmas morning, a present bearing your name speaks before it is opened: you are seen and wanted. The coming of Christ tells that same story—God did not send a generic gift, but a personal one.
1 John 3:1–3 reveals the depth of the Father’s love: through Jesus’ coming, we are called children of God. Though our future is still unfolding, our identity is already secure in Him.
Today, whether joy or loneliness fills the season, we are reminded that we belong. God came near to name us and call us His own.
