HEBREWS 10:32-39
“Don’t bite off more than you can chew,” as the old saying goes. It is a good idea to avoid taking on more than we can handle. But eventually, we will probably feel overpowered by the scope and complexity of a task we have committed to.
Even in our walk of faith in Christ, this can occur when our dedication to God seems too great to bear. But when our confidence falters, the Lord has a comforting message for us.
Hebrews’ author asked his readers to remember the bravery they displayed in the early stages of their faith (10:32-33). They supported believers in prison despite public abuse and persecution, and they gladly accepted having their own possessions seized (vs.33-34).
The power of God is what keeps us moving forward in our walk of faith. Our confidence is sparked by memories of the Lord’s faithfulness in the past.
Our faith is enhanced as we rely on God’s faithfulness.
Remember that the Lord is always with us when life becomes a heavy burden, an uphill struggle, or a twisting path.
🙏 Thank You Lord for being there for us.
