Ariana Cha’s Washington Post article discussed tech moguls Peter Thiele and others’ ambitious plan to extend human life indefinitely, pledging billions for the project.
They are running a touch behind schedule. Death is already defeated! Jesus assures us that those who believe in Him will never die; even if they die, they shall live again, as He is the resurrection and the life. This assurance is crucial to overcoming death and ensuring eternal life.
Receiving salvation from Jesus is a gift, and it has been described by C. S. Lewis as “a chuckle in the darkness.” Some may argue that it is too simple, but if God loved us before birth and wants us to live with Him forever, why would He make it hard?
