REVELATION 4
“When you are having fun, time flies.” Experience gives the impression that this cliché is true, even though it is not.
Time does not seem to matter when you give me a task that I enjoy or a person whose company I enjoy.
I now have a different perspective on the scenario in Revelation 4 as a result of my experience with this reality. I used to think, “What a boring existence!” when I thought of the four creatures around God’s throne and repeatedly saying the same few words.
Do you find repeating the same words boring? Not when you are with the person you love, and especially when you are performing your intended function.
We were created to glorify God, just like the four living creatures. If we are concentrating on Him and pursuing that goal, our life will never be dull.
🙏Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty! Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee; holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty! God in three Persons, blessed Trinity!
