LUKE 1:34-38
Like a traveller standing on a cold platform, we wait with hope, watching for the promised train. Advent is that quiet space of expectation, where patience is stretched and hearts listen closely for what is coming.
The Bible reminds us of Mary, who waited in trust as God’s promise took shape (Luke 1:38). She did not have all the answers, yet she believed that God was faithful and present in the waiting.
Today, we also wait — for peace, healing, direction, or change. The days before Christmas invites us to trust that God is already at work, even when we cannot yet see the arrival.
🙏May the God of hope, teach you to wait with trust and joyful expectation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
