WHAT DO PEOPLE KNOW YOU FOR?

HEBREWS 11:23–28

Eric Liddell, born in 1902 in Tianjin, China, died in 1945. Born to Scottish parents, he won a gold medal at the 1924 Olympics and returned to teach in Tianjin, encouraging young people to contribute to mankind. A memorial stone with an epitaph stands on the grounds of a former Japanese prison camp in China, where he died.

Eric, a renowned sportsman, is remembered for his significant contributions to the youth of Tianjin, China, where he lived and served by faith.

Our achievements, job positions, and financial success may be recognised, but the quiet work we do in others’ lives will be remembered long after our passing.

In Hebrews 11, Moses is remembered as a faithful leader who chose to align himself with God’s people, leading and serving them.

🙏 Lord, help us make a difference in the lives of others.
