EXODUS 13:17–22
Life’s path is often difficult, and expecting easy roads from God may lead to turning back on Him when the terrain becomes challenging.
The Israelites, after gaining freedom from Egyptian bondage, embarked on a journey to the Promised Land. However, God chose to lead them through the desert, not through the Philistine country. This short-term strategy helped them avoid wars, but in the long run, a larger purpose was at play.
God used the desert time to guide and develop the Israelites, preparing them for their successful entry into the Promised Land rather than allowing them to follow an easy path.
God’s faithfulness allows us to trust Him to guide us through life, even if we do not comprehend the reason for our journey, helping us grow in faith and maturity.
🙏Lord, help us trust in Your direction and guidance, as we cannot see the path ahead.
