DEUTERONOMY 6:1-12
Religious inscriptions are prevalent in the neighbourhood, appearing on various surfaces such as plaques, walls, doorposts, commercial vehicles, and registered business names. Examples include “By the Grace of God” on a minibus and “God’s Divine Favour Bookshop” on a business signboard.
Religious inscriptions on wall plaques, jewellery, or T-shirts do not accurately reflect a person’s love for God. The truth we carry inside reveals our desire to serve God.
A local ministry sponsored a programme that distributed cards with Bible verses to help people memorise God’s Word. This practise aligns with Moses’ instructions to write God’s commandments on doorframes and gates. It encourages treasuring God’s Word in our hearts, impressing it on children, and discussing it during daily activities.
May we love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, and strength by having genuine faith and sincere dedication.
🙏 Father, may Your words be written on our hearts so that we will love You and others.
