ISAIAH 49:13-20
Our lives are rarely problem-free, but the onslaught can occasionally be terrifying.
A mother witnessed the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, which resulted in the massacre of everyone in her family but her two young daughters. Now that she has adopted two orphans, she simply relies on God to provide for her family of five’s needs, including food and tuition. She organises an annual conference for other widows and translates Christian literature into the regional language. She shed tears while sharing her tale. But she has a straightforward solution for every issue in her life. She remarked, “For this, I have Jesus.”
God is fully aware of our current situation. According to Isaiah (49:16), He knows us so well that it seems as though our names are inscribed on the palms of His hands.
Write these lines next to each of the difficulties you are now facing to serve as a reminder of God’s care and faithfulness. “For this, I have Jesus.”
🎵🎶: For the weakness of my body
The burdens of each day
For the nights of doubt and worry
When sleep has fled away
Needing reassurance
And the will to start again
A steely-eyed endurance
The strength to fight and win
For this I have Jesus
For this I have Jesus
For this I have Jesus, I have Jesus
