EPHESIANS 2:11-22
Too long. Too short. Too large. Too little. Too tight. Too loose. Most people never seem to find any clothes that suit them well!
It can be equally challenging to find the “perfect fit” church. Every church has a flaw. Maybe the people all seem old. We are not given a chance to participate. Our humour is misinterpreted. We feel uncomfortable with certain attitudes, individuals, or behaviours. We feel out of place.
But it is clear that God wants us to complement one another. Paul claimed that as a community, we are being constructed to become a place where God can live (Ephesians 2:22).
There will be no ideal church, but we can all strive to fit together more closely.
