1 KINGS 8:44–53
A sailor constantly watches the sea and adjusts his course to reach his destination safely. Similarly, prayer keeps us connected to God as we navigate life’s challenges. We must never treat prayer as an occasional activity but as a daily necessity.
In 1 Kings 8:44–53, Solomon asks God to hear His people’s prayers, even when they are far from home or facing defeat. He emphasises repentance, wholehearted devotion and God’s mercy towards those who turn to Him.
Whatever challenges you face, keep praying with faith and humility. Whether you are battling temptation, hardship or uncertainty, trust God to hear you and uphold your cause. Never give up praying!
🙏 May the Lord hear your prayers, uphold you in His mercy, and fill you with His peace. Amen.
