WHEN THE RAINS FINALLY COME

GENESIS 17:15–19

Like dry ground waiting for the African rainy season, hope can seem delayed but never dead. When rain comes, life rises suddenly.

In Genesis 17:15–19, God promised Abraham and Sarah a son despite their old age. Abraham laughed (verse 17), yet God reaffirmed His covenant and declared Isaac’s birth. What sounded impossible to human ears was settled in God’s plan.

Many people wait through long dry seasons—career delays, unanswered prayers, broken dreams. This passage assures us that when God speaks, His rain will fall, and barren places will overflow with life.

🙏 May the Lord, teach you to trust His timing. Amen.
