2 KINGS 6:8-17
When a sudden power cut plunged David’s home into darkness, fear gripped his children. But as his eyes adjusted, faint moonlight streamed through the window, revealing enough light to move safely. What had seemed total darkness was never complete—light had been there all along, unseen until his eyes adapted.
Elisha’s servant once faced a similar moment of fear when the enemy’s army surrounded them (2 Kings 6:8–17). Yet Elisha, calm and confident, prayed that God would open his servant’s eyes—and he saw heavenly armies encircling them. The unseen reality of God’s protection was greater than the visible threat.
When life feels dark and overwhelming, remember: God’s presence surrounds you even when you cannot see it. His power is quietly at work, guarding and guiding you.
🙏 May the Lord help you to see His light and protection even in your darkest moments. Amen.
