ACTS 16:6–10
A farmer once planned to plant his crops in a familiar field, but heavy rain made it impossible. Disappointed, he moved to another plot—only to discover the soil there was richer and yielded a greater harvest. Sometimes, like that farmer, God closes doors to lead us to better ground.
In Acts 16:6–10, Paul and his companions experienced this divine redirection. They tried to preach in Asia and Bithynia, but the Holy Spirit would not allow them. Though they did not understand it at the time, God was guiding them to Macedonia—where hearts were ready to receive the gospel. What felt like a delay was actually destiny unfolding.
God may say “no” to a job, a relationship, or a plan we thought was perfect. When that happens, it is not rejection—it is redirection. His Spirit still leads us, even through disappointments, toward opportunities that fit His purpose and bring lasting fruit.
