WHEN DOORS OPEN UNEXPECTEDLY

EXODUS 12:33–41

In 2013, a stranded traveller in London was helped by a stranger who paid for his journey home—an unexpected act of kindness that changed his situation instantly. Such moments remind us that help can come suddenly and beyond human effort.

In Exodus 12:33–41, the Israelites were urged to leave Egypt in haste. Remarkably, their former oppressors gave them silver, gold, and clothing. This was not by chance; God granted them favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Their long years of suffering ended through divine intervention, showing that God can turn hearts and situations in an instant.

This teaches us that favour is God-given, not earned. While diligence matters, God’s favour opens doors no effort can secure. Seek Him first, live uprightly, and trust Him to move hearts on your behalf.

🙏 May the Lord grant you His favour and guide your steps today, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
