JAMES 4:1-3
War is expensive. In addition to spending money, it also causes economic hardship, as well as the destruction of lives and property. Both soldiers and civilians pay the maximum price, which is multiplied exponentially by the pain of the survivors.
When believers go to war with each other, the costs are also high. In our selfish pursuits, we sometimes struggle without considering the price imposed on our witness to the world or our relationships with one another.
Wars and strife within the church destroy our unity and our peace. How can we show the peace of Christ if our conflicts do not cease?
If we want to represent the Prince of Peace in our world, believers must stop fighting one another and practice peace.
🙏Oh Lord, make us instruments of Your peace!
